Crew challenge: Each crew pools its money for donation in friendly before regatta competition. This is a sporting way of putting the children first.

Silent Auction: Allows participants and party goers to bid on great gifts. Could be an exotic vacation or something to ride around town on.

Louie’s Challenge: Sanctioned bribery during the post race party. This is an opportunity for boat crews, their shore teams and general party participants to buy their way to a better race position. All bribes given to Children’s Hospital

Direct donations: Made from boat crew, friends and family to Children’s Hospital prior to and after the regatta. Boat crew members can go to Children’s Hospital “First Giving “ online donation site, find and/or register their boat and give a donation via their credit card.

To Begin:
• Go to http://www.firstgiving.com/louieslastregatta and click on “Get Started.”
• Enter your e-mail address and select “I am new to this site.” Then, click “continue”
• Enter your personal information…click “continue”
• If you are participating as part of a crew, scroll down to your boat name and click “select”. If you cannot find your boat name enter it in the box to the right and click “continue”. If not, select “No

• Personalize your page:
• Title, web address (ex: http://www.firstgiving.com/louieslastregatta [your title])
The bold part of the address is your personalized web address, that you will forward to crew, family, friends and colleagues, like your boat name.
• Add your own picture or choose from the stock images, choose a Fundraising Target $ amount, write a personal message for your Web page and “Thank You” emails sent to those who make a donation to your fundraising page…click “continue”
• If you are satisfied with your page…click “I am happy with my changes”
• Email your page to crew, colleagues, friends and family for their support!
You will receive an e-mail confirming the creation of your page. E-mail your page’s link (http://www.firstgiving.com/louieslastregatta [your title]) to friends and family and sit back and relax while you make a difference for the kids at Children’s Hospital!
